A large mid-century home in St. Paul had a kitchen located at the very end of one wing. Its location made it feel separate from the rest of the house, so the design solution was to open it up to the adjoining living room and integrate it into the general house's flow. Ample natural light illuminates light finishes and a spacious layout. The large island features not only storage on both sides, but an eating area at one end and a handy food station for the family dog at the other!
